We provide both tailor made and open training courses. Our tailor made courses involve us working with an organisation to identify key issues with Programme and Project Management, and to deliver a short training programme to team members and managers, identifying ways forward and practical approaches to improving performance. Our open courses address a specific theme or challenge common to many organisations, and, in usually 1 day, provide concise and practical advice and solutions. Our main courses are writing winning proposals, and effective project management. These can lead into longer course exploring these issues in more detail. Many of our courses are accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management as Professional Development courses, providing participants with certificated learning. Our approach to training and building capacity is one of active learning, using the pedagogic principles of experiential learning. This approach has been found to be the most effective learning style for adult learners where change in performance, understanding or skills is to be sustainable. Our sessions typically comprise short factual presentations, discussions, and highly focused group work or exercises. We ensure outputs are of direct use to you, and may include draft proposals, logical frameworks, or project control documents. Our courses are backed up with extensive course notes written by experts in their fields. |
