Ethical Policy

Interface NRM Ltd aims to make a significant and positive contribution to the sustainable and participatory management of the environment and natural resources.

In all our operations we retain a set of core ethical values and approaches. We demand and maintain high ethical standards in carrying out our business activities, not only to maintain our reputation, but because we have a genuine commitment towards an ethical approach to business and management.

We bank with the Cooperative Bank, as we believe they have the best available ethical policy of large UK banks. We fully endorse their ethical policy and adopt the same position.

We believe that integrity in dealings with clients, partners and contractors is a prerequisite for a successful and sustained business relationship.

We will only accept contracts where we are experienced and equipped to conduct the work to a high standard.

We work in partnership with carefully selected organisations and consultants who we respect and which compliment and enhance our capability.

Although it is difficult to determine every condition of management in a global economy, we make considerable efforts to ensure that we only deal with clients that are not exploitative or damaging to their employees and the environment. Our only exemption is where we are brought in to directly assess, address and improve these situations.

The company accords the same degree of confidentiality to confidential client information as it does its own confidential information (see our confidentiality policy).

In all advertising and other public communications, untruths, concealment and overstatement will be avoided.

We compete vigorously, but honestly. We believe service excellence to be the best way of enhancing reputation. Whilst fair comparison between the company and competitors may be made, the company will not engage in damaging competitors reputations, either directly or by implication, misrepresentation or innuendo.

We respect and work within the traditions and cultures of each country in which we operate.
